Butcher Training in the Philippines

Surprisingly, most companies and institutions abroad are very eager to work with Filipinos. Filipinos are much known for their dedication at work and the commitment they have with the tasks given to them. Additionally, when it comes to communicating in the English language, Filipinos are internationally recognized to be one of the nations that can communicate in English very well. Thanks to the Philippine education system where English has become a mean of instruction, speaking in the English language is not a hard task for Filipinos. Hence, the demand for Filipino workers is never ending.

Lately, not only medical professionals are needed overseas but also skilled workers. Filipino skilled workers are known for their rigid training here in the country. Amongst these skilled works, butchery is very much needed in other countries especially in Australia. However, though it is in demand in Australia, getting a spot on its vacancy is not a piece of cake. Filipino butchers need quality training for skill development and communication skill enhancement. What do we mean by these?

First, butchers need to undergo formal training in butchery. The most ideal thing to do is to find a TESDA (Technical Education and Skills Development Authority) accredited meat cutting schools or even enroll in TESDA for Slaughtering/Abattoir Operations NC II course. In these schools or programs, the training will last for about six weeks or 35 days. There will be classroom sessions that are more on discussion and actual hands-on training or practicum where skills acquired are tested and evaluated. However, some training schools in butchery require their enrollees to take first the IELTS (International English Language Testing System) examination before being allowed to enroll in class.

The IELTS examination is an English proficiency examination that provides all its examinees a certificate indicating their English level based on band scores. The IELTS has long been a requirement of companies and institutions abroad including Australia for employment, education and immigration as well. The importance of the IELTS certification is that it serves as a verification that an individual is fit to work in a place where English is the first language spoken both in and outside the work areas. That is why it is very important for butchers planning to hone further their skills in butchery to take the IELTS examination first.

Getting the required score in the IELTS will be much easier if the candidate or the butcher knows how to respond to different question types of the IELTS exam. Where else will they get this training but only in IELTS review centers. IELTS review centers aim to deliver training and high results in the IELTS exam of their candidates especially the butchers. With the IELTS review centers, butchers are sure to locate better job opportunities in Australia.
